Dutch MMSI radio license and AIS number

We provide UK radio licenses and Dutch radio licenses. The Dutch radio license is only available when registering or owning a Dutch Worldwide Zeebrief registration or having a Dutch passport. Also it requires a EU radio operators license. The Dutch radio license will be delivered as a paper certificate.

Polish MMSI radio license & AIS number

In combination with a Polish boat registration, we can deliver the matching MMSI radio license and AIS number from Poland.

Gibraltar MMSI radio license & AIS number (NEW)

We are proud to present the Gibraltar MMSI radio license and AIS number to you. The Gibraltar radio license can also only be registered in combination with a Gibraltar boat registration.

UK MMSI radio license & AIS number

For all other boat registrations we are required to register an UK radio licence of which you will receive an official digital certificate. When registration is done, you can use these immediately.

Dutch MMSI radio license & AIS number

The costs for the Dutch MMSI radio license and AIS number are € 250,-. In combination with a Dutch Zeebrief boat registration the costs are € 150,-.

Polish MMSI radio license & AIS number

The costs for the Polish MMSI radio license and AIS number are € 350,-. In combination with a Polish boat registration, the price remains the same.

Gibraltar MMSI radio license & AIS number

The Gibraltar MMSI radio license and AIS number are only available when making a request for the Gibraltar boat registration. When registering a Gibraltar boat registration the MMSI radio license and AIS number are included.

UK MMSI radio license & AIS number

The costs for the UK MMSI radio license and AIS number are € 250,-. In combination with a UK Part 1 boat registration the costs are € 150,-.

How long is my MMSI radio license valid?

To use the radio equipment on your yacht, a MMSI license is required, this one official license is issued in Dutch or English. The MMSI license is valid for 10 years as long as no changes are made to the equipment.

What equipment is a MMSI license for?

A MMSI license allows you to use the radio equipment on board, the VHF, AIS and EPRIB may not be used without a license. Advantages of using a VHF (AIS) within a VHF radio there is a built-in AIS (automatic identification system), this makes it possible to look around the corner. An AIS has a lot similarities with the radar, only the connection is much better and has it ship no longer needs a rotating antenna.

  • The VHF radio allows you to communicate with lock keepers or bridge keepers.
  • At busy junctions, communication takes place via traffic posts, without a VHF radio no contact can be made.
  • When you get into trouble with your boat, you can use the VHF contact is made with, for example, a coast guard center. Help can be quickly arranged
