The lifeboat register is not a separate boat register, but you can enter your lifeboat in the regular boat register. This way you can prove the ownership of your lifeboat. Different ways to register your lifeboat
Registering a lifeboat in the Netherlands, Poland, Gibraltar or Britain can be done in several ways. The most popular choice, which is also our cheapest option, is the Polish yacht registration. This registration is valid in the whole world. However, many other countries also accept this registration. We can offer this to non-EU residents by completing the procedure for you.
The Dutch worldwide registration is also open to you. Your lifeboat is registered with the Dutch cadastre, and anti-theft microdots can be applied to your lifeboat during the inspection. This type of registration is valid in all countries in the world.
You can also enter your lifeboat in the British register. The UK Part One Yacht Registration is also valid worldwide. This registration however does require inspection of your lifeboat.
